Research.Lighting is a Brooklyn-based lighting studio focused on sculptural forms, minimal design, and warm functionality. Our fixtures are built with intention, shaped to feel both resolved and expressive, never loud or overworked. We believe modern lighting should hold a space, not overwhelm it.
Every piece is made to order and assembled by hand in Brooklyn. Materials are chosen for durability and feel, with finishes that age well and proportions that stay balanced. The goal is always clarity - of line, of light, of purpose.
Our work lives in homes, studios, galleries, and spaces that value simplicity with a point of view. Whether it’s a pendant floating above the table or a sconce tucked beside the bed, we want the fixture to feel like it belongs.
